What we are looking for

A key role within the event team, a Conference Producer is a progression on the role of Conference Producer based on experience and a proven success rate that allows for more autonomy and responsibility.  Responsible for creating conference content and agendas as well as project managing an annual portfolio of events. The role requires you to have the ability to research and develop commercially attractive and high quality event programs. You will be comfortable communicating with and gaining support from senior level executives and decision makers during your research and speaker invitation process.

Your main tasks will be:
  1. Develop strong, well-researched ACM conference programmes in line with the topic brief provided by the production team leader. Senior Conference Producers will also be trained on how to supplement commercial validation.

  2. Create and build a contact database of prospective speakers, sponsors and event partners.

  3. Complete telephone research with the events target audience to understand the challenges and opportunities present in the market.

  4. Develop the event strategy and to write a high quality conference agenda.

  5. Maintain and expand the database of prospects for your assigned conferences by researching relevant companies online and adding them to the Marketing List in the CRM system.

  6. Create the marketing, sponsorship and data build briefs to ensure the project team are all able to effectively support the event’s objectives.

  7. Work closely with Line Manager to ensure agreed KPIs are consistently met. With less direct management, it is crucial for a Senior Producer to effectively report progress and prioritize tasks independently.

  8. Collaborate and communicate with the Project Teams for your assigned conferences, providing updates on the event program and to ensure all team members have the required information to support the event’s success.

  9. Enter, complete, and maintain accurate and timely production data on the CRM, updating clients’ contact details where applicable.

  10. Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure content themes are provided for direct marketing campaign activity.

  11. Provide the copy for the event website, brochure and all other relevant content for the marketing campaign.

  12. Run the conference onsite from a programme management perspective (with support from the event operations team and sponsorship team).

  13. Uphold the core values and vision of ACM at all times with a strong, positive and customer orientated approach to clients.

 
Do you have what it takes? 
 
Education: BS /BA preferred
Experience:
  • 2 to 3 years of event production experience – proven record of delivering large events (300+ attendees and a programme with streams and 30 speakers)

  • Experience working with Arab government entities and organisations at partners

  • Ability to approach and confirm government partners and to make presentations effectively

Skills:
  • Excellent phone communication skills with confident and persuasive voice
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and to analyse information provided
  • Understanding of complex technical topics and the ability to absorb information quickly

What we are looking for
A pivotal role in the success of ACM’s conference portfolio, you will be calling existing or potential customers on a daily basis to achieve ACM’s sponsorship investment and revenue growth objectives for each conference. The role focuses on having a sound knowledge of established and newly launched ACM brands and events and using this knowledge to generate client interest, qualify prospects, and close deals. You will work within a dedicated sponsorship sales team and receive regular training and mentoring from an experienced Line Manager in order to provide you with the customized tools and techniques to meet your targets.
 
Your main tasks will be
  1. Develop strong knowledge about each ACM conference within your assigned portfolio.
  2. Create and build a targeted Marketing List using the CRM system for each conference within your assigned portfolio.
  3. Maintain and expand the database of prospects for your assigned conferences.
  4. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, generating qualified leads.
  5. Generate sponsorship sales revenue in line with or above agreed targets and objectives.
  6. Work closely with Line Manager to ensure agreed KPIs are consistently met.
  7. Collaborate and communicate with the Project Teams for your assigned conferences, providing updates on pipelines and customer feedback.
  8. Enter, complete, and maintain accurate and timely sales data on the CRM, updating clients’ contact details where applicable.
  9. Dispatch, receive and review signed contracts from clients ensuring that all recorded information is clear and accurate.
  10. Ensure that all contracts are processed by the Accounting & Finance department and shared with the Operations Manager for your assigned conference.
  11. Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure client branding is displayed and promoted in a timely manner, as per the contract.
  12. Coordinate with the Credit Control to ensure all payments are made in a timely and accurate fashion.
  13. Attend conferences on-site to facilitate client networking, re-book and generate new leads.
  14. Uphold the core values and vision of ACM at all times with a strong, positive and customer orientated approach to clients.

The accountant will perform all accounting transactions related to Erbil and Baghdad offices, analyze financial information and prepare monthly financial reports to maintain various financial activities within the company, and resolve any accounting discrepancies, in line with IFP accounting procedures and local financial and legal requirements.

 

Extensive travel to Erbil and Baghdad is required

Your main tasks will be

  • Develop strong knowledge of each show within assigned portfolio using all available marketing collateral
  • Identify and get new business via outbound calls or face to face meetings on a daily basis and maintain accurate sales data on the CRM
  • Sell exhibition space and value added products such as sponsorship or advertising opportunities to both previous and new exhibitors
  • Build and maintain a targeted marketing list using the CRM tool for each show
  • Coordinate with the database team where needed for maintaining an accurate and up-to-date client database
  • Coordinate with the Operations team for all show related floorplan updates and onsite to ensure the smooth running of the event
  • Provide accurate weekly sales activity and pipeline report to the direct manager
 
Do you have what it takes? 
 

Education: BS/BA degree required

 

Experience: 2 to 3 years in a b2b sales role, preferably in events. Tele sales/telemarketing experience is a plus

 

Language: High Proficiency in English and Arabic. French is a plus
